Our IT GIRL this week is the Pune based vivacious dance instructor Upasana Salunkhe. A big fan of dance and drama she graduated from Pune and now is a head instructor at Dancing Curve. Her style is bright and bold, she doesn't shy away from neons and carries them off with grace. Here is some shots of her while at the beautiful Olive Bistro.

Eargasm Today :

A little interview with Upasana to get to know her better:

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I'm 22 and pursued my graduation in BA and currently working as the Head instructor of the largest Dance Institute in Pune called Dancing Curve. I've always believed that I'm a performing Arts child and Dance and Drama are things that run in my nerves, I'm a social butterfly and love to meet new people. My family means the world to me!

How would you describe your personal style?

Ever changing! But one thing that will never change is bright colors, I think our style is an extension to our personality and the way we dress tells a lot about us, I love to play with colors and prints, trendy, chic and fun is how I'd describe my style.

What are your passions?

Dance is my first passion and always will be, not wanting to sound philosophical but it makes me alive in a certain way as whatever my mood is, I'm happy when I'm dancing, I'm very creative and have painted on a zillion glass bottles, canvases and have abstract art paintings to my credit! I've designed a lot of my clothes, I love to shop and dress up no matter which place I'm going to, I have to be dressed to kill. Haha!

What is in your handbag?

I never step out of my house without my phone, wallet, lip balm and two pairs of sunglasses(for some weird reason).

Your favorite fashion destination?

I love to shop online! Forever 21, koovsfashion and asos are my favorites.

Favorite color at the moment?

Can't pick one, pink tops the list, I've been on an 'all things orange' buying spree and gold in abundance.

What do you think is a notable trend today and what are your thoughts on it?

Crop tops are something that can't be missed at the party circuit, maxi dresses and skirts are here to stay too, I personally think they are very comfortable and feminine.

What do you spend money on the most?

Clothes clothes and clothes, can never have enough of them.

What is your most adored piece in your closet?

It's a black dress that I bought online that I've been wanting to buy for a while now, the best part is the fact that they just had my size and just one piece left, I felt like it's a gift from God.

What's on your iPod at the moment?

I'm so fancy, you already know, I'm in the fast lane from LA to Tokyo!!
