Night Call

I am so in love with this aztec print crop top, i have seen many girls rock it here in my city.
So here's how i wear mine, paired up with my favorite sequins skort by Rapsodia. This is something that i would wear for a night out.
A little update on my hair, i got rid of the ombre i had for a long long time and my sister Nikita, who is a professional hair stylist, gave me some rad highlights.
I am loving how natural they look and add volume to my hair.  Three cheers for Nikita.

Spring Scent - D&G L’Imperatrice

L’Imperatrice is succulent, sparkling, and juicy. It starts with notes of watermelon and kiwi.

In my opinion, the only thing that smells like fresh watermelon is fresh watermelon; it’s one of those flavors/scents that just can’t be recreated;  if you really want to smell like watermelon, just rub a slice all over yourself. And keep away from picnic sites. However, I will say that D&G does an excellent job making the fresh watermelon, and when the kiwi mixes with it, it creates a mouth-watering aroma that just makes you long for cold fruit salad on a hot day. And it may just be me, but I detected slight hints of green apple. Anyway, when the fruits blend with the heart of pink cyclamen they mature and fade slightly, hovering in the background.
The pink cyclamen sort of takes over from there, blossoming out and exuding sophistication while maintaining a playful sweetness. It dries down to a soft, demure musk that retains the sweetness of the watermelon and kiwi, and the floral sophistication of the pink cyclamen.
A perfect scent for all those blooming spring days and hot summer nights.

These cute bubblegum colored benches at Kiva takes me back to time when we as kids loved Boomer and making big bubbles out of that gum was considered art.
Kiva has lovely outdoor sitting with witty drawings which seems great for an evening coffee with your friends.
About the outfit, white shirt and blue denims is what i keep coming back to when i want to keep it casual.
But casual does not mean boring in my dictionary.
Destroyed denims and cutoffs are a rage so don't shy away from working up those scissors on your old jeans.
Also adding a colorful or blingy necklace can instantly make your plain white shirt so much more fun.

Hope you all enjoy this post and have a lovely Saturday.

Red Riding

Lately i have been crushing on antique silver jewelry, layering different necklaces together over a simple tee is a fun way to wear an over sized tee.
Some of these necklaces are antiques from my mom's closet which i raid every once in a while.
My mom's closet also gets me all nostalgic about the wee years i spent sitting on the bed and intently watching her get dressed for a party.
I can still smell the perfume she wore all those years ago.
Confession: I have a strong olfactory sense and most of my memories about people and places are related to the scent.
I can very well relate to Jean - Baptiste Grenouille's character in the movie 'Perfume : The story of a murder'. You must watch this amazing movie if you haven't yet.

Coming back to the outfit, I teamed up my white tee with a bright red skirt by BCBG, my all time favorite Zara sandals and my beloved LV Stresa Azur bag.
Another one of those fun shoots with Nikita!
Have a lovely week ahead!

Bon Appétit {Food Feature} - Café 1730

Tucked away on a quiet street in the chic neighborhood of Koregaon Park, Cafe 1730, is a food lover’s paradise.
Having newly renovated, this first floor restaurant exudes a sense of traditional meets contemporary with a charming and spacious balcony seating overlooking the lush green outdoor.

I went there for brunch with my girl friends and we were pleasantly surprised by the extensive list of drinks and cocktails.
Sangrias, daiquiris, martinis, wines, shooters, mojitos, you name it!
They were delicious and we girls were happy. Pun intended!

The extensive menu includes healthy breakfast options to mouth watering waffles and pancakes.
Appetizers like crepes and quiche and Continental to Goan delicacies.
A haven for seafood lovers like me, i ordered myself a grilled fish with veggies. It was delicious and the veggies were fresh. I will definitely go back.
